A Good Mail Day Can Put a Smile on Your Face!

Excellent mail day today! I love when I head out to the mailbox and see things flowing out of it. When all of those freebies start rolling in, it’s like Christmas! On top of getting all of these goodies, NO bills! Not one! Stupendous mail day indeed!

Here’s what the freebie fairy brought for me:

  • FREE Fitness magazine subscription
  • FREE mason jar from Firefly Vodka (I had given up on this one…it had been months)
  • FREE cosmetic case filled with beauty products
  • FREE Febreze car clip
  • All You magazine…not free, but discounted subscription to a magazine I love.

On top of that…on errands today I got FREE Ken’s marinade (coupons) FREE body wash (coupon) FREE M&M’s (ECB’s) and made a $.63 profit when I left CVS. Now tonight, I get to have dinner with some gal pals. Good day all around! 🙂

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

Sounds good! My mail lady came roaring up to the house this morning, horn honking and lights flashing. Our mail box is on the road on the other side of the house, so her actions got my attention, to say the least.
She delivered a box, a nice large box… it was a package of ‘winnings’ from last week. I had asked the author to autograph the books I was expecting to my best friend – the box held 2 sets of the books, one set autographed to her and one to me, 2 totebags, pens and notecards… I was not expecting this!
I am having a book giveaway for two autographed copies of Jerry Eicher’s Amish themed books, “Missing Your Smile’ and “Following your Heart” on my blog in case you or one of your readers would like to ‘take a chance’ to get something in their mailbox.
