Smiley 360 Mission from Sears = Holiday Magic!

Hi everyone! Some of you may (or may not) be aware of Smiley360. When you become a member of Smiley360, you get the opportunity to participate in reviewing products and/or companies and the products you receive are yours to keep. Free of charge! You apply for a “mission”. Your application is reviewed and if you are chosen for and accept the mission you will receive a product in the mail. You then review it and share your experience through social media such as Facebook and Twitter, along with good old word of mouth messages to your friends and family.

Recently, I was chosen to participate in the Sears Holiday Cheer Mission through Smiley360. I received a $15 gift card to Sears and was able to purchase some great items for Christmas. Here are the items I got for around $13. I tried to get another “JOY” ornament, but they were all out. 😦

Now, I am usually not one for “blingy” decorations, but when I picked up that mirrored ornament, I had a vision! I created a homemade gift out of it by using the same method I posted a few days ago to transfer photos to packing tape. I then cut the picture to size and adhered it to the ornament. I love the way the mirrored ornament adds layers to the photo tape. It’s just one of the ways that I’m personalizing Christmas this year! The ribbon and “JOY” ornament will be added to a swag that I’m working on made with branches from one of our own pine trees.

I really want to thank Smiley360 and Sears for this wonderful mission. Without this opportunity, I never would have thought to look in Sears for Christmas decorations or ornaments. I’m so very glad that I did!

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.
