Here’s a great idea to use up any small pieces of scrap fabric you may have on hand. I originally pinned this fabulous idea, but when I tried to link it back to the original source, I got a bad link message so I can’t give credit. But whoever made these first deserves a big pat on the back. They are so cute.

I purchased the blank tags a Michael’s craft store (although you could certainly make your own). I simply cut the shapes freehand out of scrap fabric, glued them to the tag, outlined them with a fine sharpie and drew the features with the same sharpie. Easy! These will add a touch of whimsy to my Christmas packages.

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

Oh my gosh, these are so sweet! They look like a perfect project to do with my younger son, who is instantly smitten by anything this cute.

  2. That’s awesome! You sure have some lucky recipients this year!
