Pinterest Presents Party

With Christmas quickly approaching, it’s time to get some gifts made! We all know that Pinterest is a great place to find gift ideas. We also know that we can pin a million projects but seem to never get around to actually completing said projects.

Enter the Pinterest Presents Party. A few friends and I decided that the buddy system works best in the area of motivation so each week we will be gathering to craft Christmas presents. I think it’s going to work out great. Last night, a total of 38 gifts were completed in about two hours. Nice!

I can’t reveal our homemade presents (what would Santa say?), but trust me…they are CUTE! The only problem…now I really can’t tear myself away from Pinterest while searching for next week’s project!

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

  1. That’s great! I too, have made a present from scratch. And I really want to share it with everyone, but I’m afraid that the recipient may stumble upon it and ruin the surprise. 😦 After Christmas it is!
