May De-Clutter Update

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven’t given up on the May De-Clutter challenge! With Mother’s Day and my daughter coming home from school, I’ve just been a tad pre-occupied. Everything is under control though and has been completed up through the kitchen counters. Yay! Going to be moving on to some harder things again soon though, so I’m glad that it was “busy work” for the last couple of days. 🙂

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

I’m good for now! Trying to psych up for ‘under the sinks’ two are in good shape but the cabinet under the little bathroom sink is kind of a ‘catch all’… ;). thanks for the challenge, it is keeping me on track

I am SO keen to do this 🙂 Just found your blog through myplantbasedfamily and what perfect timing! I love to declutter and am feeling like everything has got a bit out of hand! Now I just have to work out how I do it all in half a month?! Two projects a day!? Or maybe I will just go from now till mid-June? Either way – thank you!!
    Oh, and hello!

    • Hello and welcome! My advice would be to combine some of the smaller projects in one day. I was just ready to post about something similar actually. I sorted some files and made a “station” in my kitchen. However you decide to do it, the freedom that comes with it is awesome! I’m loving it so far (and so is the thrift store hahaha)

I like to declutter regularly anyway but not sure where to start at the moment so this is perfect – I may have to adapt the timings as well as combining some of the ideas but it’s a fab starting point for me – wish I’d found your blog earlier in the month!! Thanks 🙂
