May De-Clutter Challenge ~ Pantry

Yippee!!! Another day checked off on the challenge! Today I addressed my pantries. Ok, I’ll admit, they weren’t very bad, but still! Another one checked off! This is my first and main pantry. This is where I keep my stockpile. The only thing I did in here was put away a few items that were in a bag on the floor. I stood there, trying to think of ways I could improve, but honestly…without a major overhaul and investing some major money, I don’t think it can be improved.

This is my second pantry. I refer to it as the canning pantry. I keep all of my canning supplies there, along with any food that I have canned. Look at that sad little shelf of preserved food. It’s been whittled down to mostly pickles and relishes. Don’t worry! I’ll soon fill you up again! This mostly needed some rearranging. I only ended up taking out one basket, two bags and a jar of tomatoes that I didn’t like the looks of. Now, everything is in order for another growing season.

I refer to this cupboard as my third pantry. It is a free standing cupboard in my laundry room that holds the overflow of paper products (and all of our board games) that the main pantry can’t hold. I didn’t touch this one.

Pantries…check!

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

  1. Wow, that’s the most organized pantry that I’ve ever seen! Please don’t ever look in my cupboards.

  2. Oooh! Pantry Porn!! I love it!! I also have several pantries and am a home canner and occasional gardener (we’re battling soil pests right now.) Good on you for getting things so nicely organized!
