Gearing Up For May De-Cluttering!

I like organization, but sometimes get distracted. I work well under a schedule. I have brought the two together in an attempt to spend one month focusing on reducing clutter…one baby step at a time.

In preparation for the upcoming De-Clutter-a-thon, I will gathering a few items I will need. I’ll be keeping an eye out for cloth bins, pretty baskets or drawer organizers. These things are not necessary, but if I can get them at a good price, I’m going to grab them.

If you’re going to be following along, or even participating, I’ll be showing you my daily progress and projects, and throwing in some additional ideas for organization in the home. I’ve already set up my donation bag for the items that I’ll be purging.

Come on May…I’m up for the challenge!

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

I’m in. Much needed and if I follow YOUR schedule, I don’t have to think of one of my own. 🙂 Thanks for the nudge.
