Ok, I have to admit, I’m taking the easy way out today. I’m leaving for a mini vacation tonight and don’t have tons of time to be creative. Today’s subject is “orange”. I thought I’d share one of the ways I try to get a little more vitamins into my day by using oranges (and other citrus). I keep a glass pitcher of water filled with citrus slices in my fridge. The reason behind the glass picture is so the colors catch my eye and make it visually appealing. It works. That pitcher is the first thing that I look at when I open that door! I’ve been trying to drink more water, and this helps. It tastes great just poured from the pitcher, but it can also be added to iced tea and other juices. It’s these subtle tricks that can help us all be more healthy with very little effort. Isn’t it lovely? Makes you want to drink it right up, doesn’t it?
Yes, it does. And thanks for the nudge. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while.
You are more than welcome. 🙂
I like fruit in my water too. Or cucumber slices.
Agreed….frozen blueberries and black raspberries will be thrown into the mix next week!
My mom does this too! She was inspired to start “fruiting her water” after seeing it at a very fancy hotel downtown Chicago.
Well, I don’t know about fancy….hahahaha but it sure is good!
