Some Frugal Stops

I’ve made some nice shopping stops in the last week or so for sure. Yesterday I stopped at CVS and purchased a few things. My grand total paid was $.57 and I earned a $1.00 in Extra Care Bucks to spend next time. Here’s what I got:

Last week, I stopped into our local thrift store and was able to walk out of there with all of these items, paying $7.54 total. Needless to say, I was thrilled!

Here’s what I got:

  • NEW suit for hubby
  • Plain t-shirt
  • 2 taper candles
  • Slotted spatula
  • Tupperware food container
  • Tall glass jar with cork lid
  • Totally fake, but totally glam ring

Don’t you just love the name on the slotted spatula? Kitchamajig. Clever! (And apparently it is quite the multi-tasking tool!) I just love treasure hunting.

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.
