Photo-A-Day April ~ Inside Your Wallet

Today’s photo challenge subject is “Inside Your Wallet”. Well, you see, my wallet is a tricky wallet. My inside is actually outside. My wallet consists of a large zipper pouch (where I keep all of my change), a side with credit card slots with a strap that snaps closed to secure them and a side with a window for my driver’s license and some paper money (that one is usually empty hahaha).

This is the side with the credit card slots. This kind of wallet works fabulously for me for a few reasons. First, I can see everything at a glance. Second, I don’t really have to open my wallet to gain access to the cards I use most. Third, I have separate joint accounts with my husband and my two children. All from the same bank, so the cards look the same. With this wallet, I keep them in a certain order, so I always know which one to grab. I told you I was a visual person. 🙂

The only problem is that I have never seen another wallet like it, so I don’t know what I’m going to do when this one wears out!

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.

I actually have two of these… I am a bit of a hoarder you see… One for summer and one for winter and I think I actually never used them much as I couldn’t find them in the “wallet bin” lol
