I loved today’s subject! Tiny. So many wonderful tiny things that I could photograph! I ultimately decided on the tiny peppercorn. A favorite spice of mine. They are tiny as whole peppercorns, and can be quite colorful! I use them whole mostly when pickling something. They get even more tiny when you grind them using a pepper mill. Course ground pepper is wonderful! This is how I use pepper the majority of the time. Grind some fresh on salads, meats…really anything that you want to add a great, earthy flavor to. Then there is finely ground pepper. It’s ground so fine that it almost feels powdery. I will use this if it’s called for specifically in a recipe.
And there you have it. Tiny, which can then be tinier or even tiniest. Funny how I can be amused by the tiniest of things. 🙂
