March Foodie Photo-A-Day Challenge ~ Something Green

Today’s photo challenge subject is “something green”, so I thought I’d include a picture of the refrigerator pickles that I have made for several years. These pickles have a great overall bread n’ butter taste to them and stay wonderfully fresh in the refrigerator for a long time. I have people that wait patiently for jars of them when the garden explodes with cucumbers.

  1. Those look delicious! The one thing I’ve never been able to convince myself to do is can pickles, but refrigerator pickles seem doable. I’d forgotten about them.
