Laundry…At Time It Has It’s Benefits

I don’t know about you, but I find laundry to be one of the most tedious jobs in the world. I do not look forward to it and at time will definitely put it off. But somehow, just when I think I’ve had enough and can’t fold one more piece of clothing…I find a treasure. It’s usually a pen cap, a quarter…heck, I’ve even found a gun magazine! But the best find of all…MONEY! Yesterday I was gifted $7.00 from my dryer. Yay!

I usually don’t carry cash on me, so I thought this would work well for milk money. Until hubby came home from work and informed me that his gym membership was due. I’ll look at the glass as half full. His gym membership was reduced by $7.00 this month!

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.
