March Foodie Photo-A-Day Challenge ~ Pantry

Today’s subject for the Photo-A-Day Challenge is “pantry”. There are so many things I could have done with this one, but time just doesn’t allow that today. So instead of some creative glance at the keyhole on my pantry door…here’s what I have:

The first is a picture of the pathetic remains of last year’s canning. It has all boiled down to one shelf.  Well, at least it’s almost time for more canning marathons! The second is my attempt at creativity within my short time span. hahahaha This was taken in my second pantry. (I keep one for just the food I’ve canned, along with canning supplies and other hard to store kitchen appliances and another for canned and other non-perishable foods.) So there you have it. A tiny glimpse into my pantries. Maybe I’ll be more creative tomorrow. :-/

About finefrugality

I am a wife, mother, business owner, farmer, foster parent, retired probation officer and so much more. :-) I love to save money any way I can. I just don’t see the sense in handing my cash over to someone else when I don’t have to. I coupon, I grow and can food, I reuse and repurpose items, I scour thrift stores and during the warmer months, my Saturday mornings consist of yard sales and our local farmer’s market with my husband. I have organized local meetings which include coupon swaps, barter clubs and swap meets. Here is where I begin to share this life with the rest of the world. This is Fine Frugality. Because being frugal is not only fine. It is FINE.
