When I came across this vintage wooden condiment server at a local thrift store I knew that I MUST repurpose it! The cups were a great size, the base was very steady and it just screamed organization. So I took it home and stared at it. When I noticed three of my bangle bracelets laying on the kitchen table, I knew.
I am currently in the process of transforming (hopefully) a spare room in our house into a dressing room. It has been a slow process. Anyway, I had a piece of fabric that I loved with hues of greens and black that I planned on using in said dressing room. So there was the color scheme for the transformation project.
Here’s what the server looked like when I purchased it:
A few quick zaps from the spray paint cans (the cups took about 3 coats due to them being smooth metal)…and this is what it looks like today!
I must admit….I’m in love with it. I also thought it would be a great item to have on hand when doing projects like bead work. Or to store some scrapbooking stampers in, or to hold plastic cutlery during picnics. Wherever it lands in my world, I’m so glad that I spent the $1.00 to bring it home.
Side note: Don’t you just love this little ring? 🙂
